C4 Campaign to Help Your Neighbors in Need
Since 1968, C-4 has aided thousands of families in need. With the Covid crisis, we have seen a significant increase in the numbers of people asking for our help. We provide clothing, baby supplies, school supplies, new books, and holiday toys to more than 1,200 children each year. Our next mission will be to fund the Annual C-4 Toy Closet. The Christmas Toy Give-Away is available to all registered C-4 families with children ages infant - 12. Each child receives a full stocking, 3 books, a stuffed animal or puzzle, and TWO large toys. The 2023 distribution will be held the weekend of December 15th. We will be serving more than 1,200 children this year! Your donation will help C-4 achieve its annual mission and most importantly a child in need.

Donate your time
WHO: Individuals from C-4 member congregations, civic groups, county-referred persons and students.
WHAT: Time, money, and/or donations of clothing, shoes, linens, and new toys.
WHEN: Tuesdays and Fridays are open to clients. Volunteers can arrive as early as 9am and should try and stay until 12noon. Thursdays are designated restocking days and volunteers can arrive as early as 9am and stay until11:30am.
WHERE: At the Colesville Center located at 14015 New Hampshire Ave. Silver Spring MD.

Donate gently used clothing and linens
To donate your gently used clothing and linens:1. Drop off bagged donations anytime using the 2 large orange sheds on the south entrance of the building. 2. Bring the bagged items in-person on Tuesday, Thursday or Friday from 9am-12noon

Can I get a receipt for tax purposes?
Yes! C-4 is a 501c-3 so all donations are tax-deductible.You can send a request to the website email and have one mailed (or emailed) or ask for one at the office when you come in-person.
